one thing i like about the ranger games is how when you look at a lot of gen 1-3 pokemon's sprites you can tell they were included in the original ranger games. best example is salamence imo. Gen 3 sprite, Gen 4 sprite, Ranger sprite in all three games.

This take a while but glad that I was able to finish it. The whole on a day off. Just notice when drawing that all of them have straight bang kinna look like a happy family imo.

IMO it's the shade of green you're using, plus the lack of actual vegetation. The current green looks very swamp-y and i feel like it should be shifted a little bit towards blue instead of yellow.

I drew over it a little bit. The squirrels you had were a nice touch too!
