I'm not really sure what kind of artist I would be considered, but most of my digital art tends to be geared towards bright colors. I also write stories and have started delving into Pixel Art! :)

First do your flat colors. Then use the studio brush and have a low opacity when shading colors and use it like any other marker. After that use the smudge tool of the the Noise brush or dry ink brush. But don’t smudge it too much, only bits and pieces.

It's a little more cartoony than my normal stuff but it was still fun! Going to keep things in flat colors. One is my version/colors the other is with the GIF's color pallet.
