From then on I went to thumbnailing the composition. I've already thought about this a fair bit so I already know what kind of composition I want so I just blocked it in with some colors. Eventually ended up with a circular and sharp portal instead of a blocky stone hedge portal.
The process: Rough sketch, Line art, flat colors... and the logo (with the help of @4a206d) ☺️
