I can't decide which version I like better, but I'm leaning towards the flats because the shading is fudged. Anyways, completed portrait for my pal of a lyrrinoth (OC species) chara I designed for him; Vraekai!

lines and flats! as im gonna be painting this directly, just one or two passes, i wanted to get the lines as clean + clear as i could. the colors are very ... flat, not very realistic, but i'm not really trying to be! next step: transfer lines to paper and shellac.
