There wasn't any issues with Akira's author.
In fact, after KOF 2002, K9999 was still present in the SNK Playmore era, making cameos, appearing as playable in some official mobile games (alongside Nameless) and even appeared in the KOF N.E.S.T.S. Saga recap video.

Really enjoyed this issue of Spider-Man Beyond, was what I expect from the series so far. Only problem I had was that it felt like they're still getting introductions through first but not as much as the last two issues. Michael Dowling's art is great too
