Confession: I've never really felt comfortable with Photoshop's painting tools. It always felt like I was using Photoshop to do something it wasn't designed for.

I just picked up Clip Studio Paint Pro while it was on sale, and I think I might enjoy digital painting again...

I did it!!! Cosmo and Cody (my fursona), both in cool poses, and wondering how they got to where they are. Cody also seems much more restrained than usual...he looks uncomfortable abt it though. Poor dude, let him go wild!

Messing about with thiner brushes than usual to get the right consistancy for a mike mignola style line art.
working with no pen pressure was an interesting ecperience but not as uncomfortable as i thought it would be.

after years and years of only being comfortable with doing traditional art i have finally attempted and for once somewhat succeeded with doing a digital art piece!!! i very much so need a lot more practice but this took 7 and a half hours so i think i did okay for a first shot 😩
