some anatomy and pose practice with a technique i personally use to improve.

i traced the left sketch to get a feel of the pose then free handed the sketch on the right. i compare my free hand sketch to the trace to criticize and annotate mistakes i made to work on later.

Yosei is really short without her boots LOL only 150cm/4'11 and dwarfs compared to Mirio, but that hair of hers especially when her back is turned, makes her look taller than she appears.

When you compare the old with the new, it's like the new images peel away this faint layer of muddiness through the use of more striking colors. I can tell the base lineart and posing have improved too.
