this environment is 95% done, all thats left is to do some optimization again for the animation, but I'll do that later hhe, need to move on to the next one
Going from 60 polygons to 600 polygons is a large increase in visual fidelity
But going from 60000 to 600000 barely makes a difference, there are diminishing returns at some point
Texture quality can increase, lighting can improve, but performance is so much more important
I wish the gaming industry would understand that we don't need higher fidelity in graphics to enjoy good looking games
These games are from 2014-16
Art direction is hella important and we've achieved realistic styles, we don't need to be able to count the asshairs on a character
