left = technically canon characters from an archived 2014 youtube roleplay series, my interpretation is VERY fast and loose tho
right = original dnd characters loosely on the left couple, but w/ a completely different backstory and setting to their inspiration
Been a while since I painted some stuff from my fantasy setting, time to break that trend with good ol' Varasia.
This involved practice in may regions, but most notably self restraint to avoid over-rendering and I'm super happy with the results.

@shareocs Jasper and Iolite are both an unnamed creature with few features setting them apart from humans. One of these features is their ability to hypnotize people simply by looking at them. (Continued-)
for these I’ve used Grain from the Camera Raw settings, and I can see it doesn’t give me the rounding effect even with bright higher-contrast pieces (unlike the Filter Gallery > Texture > Grain @gijothehydroid uses that works fine for the low-contrast works)

Matthew is a former adventurer that drinks and gambles but he is somehow connected to the Sun God that is worshipped in this setting.
