At remote BIPOC figure drawing we were struggling to arrange this pose around the late afternoon sunbeams. So I was inspired to focus on the blown out light and warm underlighting bouncing from it. Really happy with how it came out! (25 min pose in Clip Studio Paint)

you can tell mei is hardly putting in any effort, but kiana's struggling to even punch - it's kinda symbollic with how mei feels, like she's done no work and has done nothing, while kiana's put her life on the line. after every hit, kiana gets back up, but mei doesnt get hit once
