Artwork I made for the Priest of Titania alter. I wanted to make something different from what elves are usually depicted in traditional fantasy settings.

This illustration depicts the SARPE (Surgically Assisted Rapid Palatal Expansion) procedure, which is a technique used to expand the maxillary arch.

I still wanna get to retouching up the OMaM portraits that depict Basil and Cyan through the five years of the story so here's just them during the first year; young and inexperienced

Before I'm clarified, yes I now understand these depictions extend well beyond the medieval period. Here are some other great ones.

here's an old picture from @/neltruin (commissioned the same year Fen was designed), depicting one strategy: long, almost needle-like fangs

On my local lockdown walk in south London is a garden dedicated to the amazingly talented artist Cicely Mary Barker (1895-1973).

Famous for her flower fairy artworks, she used costumed children as models & accurately depicted plants supplied by Kew Gardens.

4 little depictions as we respond to the story of Mary’s empowerment on this Feast of Gabriel appearing to her in which she interrogates him & stands up for herself before heaven & earth can be joined. Paul Woelfel; Marc Padeau; Woonbo Kim Ki-chang; Janet McKenzie

I've definitely noticed casca getting lighter in more recent adaptations, but for some reason the op of the 2016 depicts her as straight up white.

First 2 are scenes from 2016, other 2 are from the 2016's op. I have no idea why this happened.

apparently this is an accurate depiction of me

Mt Coronet appears to change shape with most depictions of it, even within the same media and canon.

It is sometimes pictured with multiple points and sometimes only with one. Snow is not always visible either, despite being a defining trait.

Reference to George Back and the Terror - popping this in as it's a spectacular painting and a great example of the 'sublime', depicting that expedition. Yes, another ship trapped in the ice. It's almost as if they weren't very well-suited to it at times...

Also, Teferi's version Syncopate has one of the best depictions of a counter spell. He just doesn't have time for your nonsense today.

PS: Details: And no, "my horses" will not be depicted with shaved whiskers & inner ears. The whiskers are tactile, the earhair protects against wind, insects, etc.
