As part of a larger December project, I have decided to do something special. Using my "professional" art skills, I have created the first batch of headshots for those that I look up to on Twitter. In order:

Heyo I'm Elena, Swedish artist and professional procrastinator. I most often draw my ocs (mainly my Dangan girls) but on occasion I'll draw something different. My current hyperfixation is TF2 and I love pyro will all my heart.

This is MC Alycen and yes she’s mostly a self insert!

🍓She’s a professional ballerina
🍓Her family heritage is from Kazakhstan
🍓She plays the harp and flute
🍓She can speak 5 languages fluently
🍓She’s very elegant but in her mind she’s very dorky and gets flustered easily https://t.co/2J8UMtBVRC

The number of professional cartoonists has been declining for years. Is political satire still an essential part of the press?

I'm a Spanish student. I have zero professional experience, and though I like my art I admit I'm not very good (not to mention animation).
But pixel art is something id' love to do for a living and I'm very excited about learning and eventually getting to be proud of my work :)

Hello, I'm from germany, haven't worked professionally yet and I'd love the opportunity to a) learn what to look out for when making game art since I aspire to be a gameDev and b) learn about choosing better colors, because I feel like thats what holding me back the most

Hello, I'm JD! I'm from the US, have only started working on a more "professional" level over the last few months, and would love to learn from someone as experienced with art, as well as someone so knowledgeable in the game dev side of it too.

Thank you for this opportunity!

I'm in the US, and I have no actual professional experience. I've been working on my art for a couple of years now in my spare time using tutorials.

I want to spend the last part of my life building games instead of working in a corporate office.

Thanks for this! I'm from Singapore (currently living in NYC though). Just started pixel art this year as I wanted to make games with my friends. Would love to get better to help them out more. I have done art for more than 2 years but not a professional. Self taught hobbyist.

(As an aside, I refer to photos in a lot of my pieces, both personal and professional. There's this idea that using references is somehow "cheating??" But there's a huge difference between tracing someone else's work and just looking at a photo while you draw.)

Stand Back. They're professionals!
