Another stage that had some massive changes was Frosty Citadel Act 1. It was one of the first stages I designed but I ended up liking the feel of Act 2 more so I tried to incorporate elements into act 1 from 2.
Act 1 is outside of the citadel. Celeste heavily inspired this zone.

Most importantly to ME, CLAMP from the jump has incorporated LGBTQIA+ characters in ALL of their stories in a way that doesn’t exploit queer trauma or perpetuate stereotypes. They simply exist, feel joy & sadness, & are heroes/heroines. (My favorite being Tomoyo Daidouji of CCS)
