When this series was announced, I was kind of hoping they'd aim for slightly more realistic character designs. Kind of like the ones used in the MIB cartoon or the 1998 Godzilla cartoon. Ya know, something that would aim for a moderately stylized look? Was hoping more for that.
@iblamethe80s @ZakaZ96 The right one isn't horrible, just plain and generic. A lot of things in this show look plain, and the designers tried to remedy that by adding useless slits and straps to the clothes. The writing in the new show is... not great, but we're talking purely about designs.

I only seen a handful of She-Ra, but I remember people (probably a vocal minority) complaining about the character designs.
Honestly, which of the designs give much more of "who this is" to you? (Completely ignore the right, judging the character by the left, then switch after)
I've narrowed a list of my drawings down to the four I want to re-draw, really just to fix 'em up and change the OCs to their current designs.

( he was a final fantasy oc ( summoner 2 summon ), then a dragon ( deity ), then final fantasy oc ( white magic summon ), then dragon ( lunar dragon / celestial entity that gained the rank of prince w/ a pretty juicy magic core)
While a lot of the "original five" may look like Five Nights at Freddy's clones, I aim to make the cloning end with the designs. They all have their own story arcs, personalities, and origins.
