Silva's kids, Itzuko and Argia were created because of complications with Palette of Purgatory, in which originally a co-written story, the roles of the gods in watch of Purgatory needed to be filled. Additionally, a higher power that watched over these two was also needed, Silva

Silva's story originally wasn't the story about the gods. That was Landora's story, in which all of the cast were all gods of different elements (which is why all of their designs have some sort of element integrated into them)
