River's Werewolf phase.
Don't worry, she is gonna heal that before any possible curse to her family

I won't be catching the big battle until I finish the other 88 episodes of so in the mean time I drew a portrait of 's character in the campaign, River! I wanted to celebrate both the character and her player so I tried to emulate Brachy's line art style.

There was that one time she became a T-rex in the Beastlands and judged Canus alongside Haelena for his lack of tact with words.

With her secret out of the way, it became clear she no longer had a wall between her and pursuing a relationship, leaving her vulnerable to actually seeing herself with someone.
Upon meeting Erzer a second time, those thoughts became really clear.

River's love for meat and strength grew more powerful, believing herself to be safer from her persecutors.
Made some more fun doodles with her doing shenanigans and pissing off her teammates.
And a special one for Valentine's day

The funniest thing happened on that resurrection roll.
As I was preparing myself for my character design to go to the trash by becoming a human or dragonborn or elf. I ended up rolling on Halfling again
The only changes being her hair, eyes and... well, physical gender

Taking a note from my Teammate , I figured I'd show off a bit of my Dragonborn Monk, Garu's journey as our DnD campaign comes to a close tonight(?)
Get ready for 90+ Episodes of recap in a twitter thread!!

I even made a rough animated sketch of what River would look like in but never got around finishing her... I might do that soon

I did a bunch of different style doodles of River to get a good hang of her design and color palette.
Making sure it was defined enough in design. Not too complicated, not too simple.
Some adding to her personality and backstory.
Others just for fun or support.

I always wanted to try the Dragonmark feat for my Aarakocra but the campaign died before it could get there.
The idea was to make a Fighter who had a healing spirit with them.
So I had to draw the mark and even a scar they got during the fall of their home.

Let's start with the first River sketches I ever made up to her eventual session 1 design.

Funny enough, River's concept was for a different campaign but I ended up using a different character.
I liked the idea of a "Runaway Noble" so they were meant to wear a mask

Sorry to go off in so may tangents, but there are perhaps some intereting trends to due with the leading D6(-6)6 and trailing D6(-6)6 dice:
