I like it when it is ordered in a certain way, normally I have a chaos with a lot of weight because I keep the minimum change, be it lineart, coloring or shading.

thank you uwu well i use three layers,base layer,multiply and glow dodge and lastly i do a couple of strands here and there on top of the lineart,when it comes to tutorials i made just one some 2 (?) years ago but semi realism here uwu

This is usually along the lines of what I do! The flats are put underneath the lineart, and at some point I switch to painting over the lineart and using layer modes for basic lighting✨

At the end there's a lot of using liquify, color balance and levels to get it where I want👌
