@fahmimustaffa All of these have black India ink. I don't use it for outlines, just to add color, development. Upperleft (and then CW), painting on canvas, en brunaille + acrylic washes, India ink; India ink on giclée print; ditto + colored pencil; India ink and oil pastel on giclée.

The bold harder outlines seems to work better with the Nicktoons logo

All my pixels before that were w/o outline and after that I only used colored outlines if any. But this was my first time trying black outlined style in pixelart.

here's me, more or less. didn't quite get to colour the outlines of the reds and the tailfeathers, but ultimately ended up being probably the best one.

Finished the art yesterday and it took about 6 hours bc you know it has no outlines

Drew this on stream last night! It was a blast and it was a fun to try and draw something without any black outlines.

Just compare the line thickness of the left one to the right one.

One has clear outlines, one very thin lines all over the place. This makes it very difficult to parse visually. The fact that the background pops as much as the foreground doesn't help either.

Recently on the Pixel Art Cafe I've been messing with double pixel outlines and I think this is going to be my standard now. My next game: probably double outline.
