In Skyrim I played an argonian named Saffron. I had really high sneak, which lets you do fun stuff that probably wasn't intended. Later I met another argonian and we became reckless idiot lizard friends, sneaking around and shooting stuff with arrows. good time

Spotted some crocuses in the wild so so here’s some lovely illustrations! Saffron (from crocus sativus) historically used to treat ailments such as gout & asthma, and believed to be an aphrodisiac. This 19thc medical text also claims it brings “ecstatic drunkenness”
