for some reason, the textures felt off to me, so i spent some time thinking and went back to her this morning.

i pushed/ changed the saturation on her face/ upper body and went with my gut instinct.

I can finally say im happy with her :>

quick beginner tip: when deciding colors to use for shading, try to mess with the hue/saturation rather than just making it darker. here's an example (top row being what you did, and the bottom row being what I think I would've done)

Improvement! I shifted the hue and saturation of the skin tone to a lighter mauve, now going in with blues for shadow. Much better.
