/No Sonally moment in Issue 49, but felt the need to point this out because it's weird. Sonic's legs are cramping up and so he can't do his figure-eight move. So he decides to... take some dirt out of his shoe and use it as a landstrip, which he runs on. This doesn't make sense./

This is a really good study, sometimes readability & silhouettes are more important that keeping your character's Anatomy correct.
Sonic X is a really good example of this as Sonic's Classic 3 Spine Head Silhouette is always visible no matter the angle he's seen from.
