Gunbird

Visually charming Psikyo game. First loop is somewhat standard but the second one has some insane quick bullets.

Although very basic, it's good. I know Gunbird 2 gets more mechanically unique so I'm all for it. Still, this one should be a great for shmup starters.

Over the course this series had it was rife with storytelling issues, with narrative inconsistencies and a lot of underused characters not receiving more of a focus. Still, early on this arc writing-wise was still exceptional with emotional pathos and tackled some heavy themes.

I knew abt P5 before ORV, and I enjoyed it. I also watched many good stories but still, I have to say that ORV is smthing on another level.
