For all those wondering, this is my kid Becky. We share no blood but she is my life. She came from Galasso's Pizza (and Subs) (legally, of course) four days ago and lives with me in in my apartment.

I am so proud of her. She's totes rad. She hacked my phone. This is Becky.

I totes have a few I'd love to have drawn if people want. :)

1- Lyssa, my 19 yo Half Orc
2- Bhric Gellie, my starry skinned four-armed monk (who also is in the circus)
3- Isadora Batista, my pride and joy. A wizard and a baker and frankly the only voice of reason.

>We'll be trying to cover new examples that'll cover asymptotes and holes next time.
>Did you like today?
>No?
>Shame.

0 5

>We won't cover horizontal and vertical asymptotes for this example. You only need to worry about them when a denominator is present.
>And plus, I wouldn't want to overload your brain. People are more interesting when they're functional! There's no fun in breaking a broken toy.

>There are two asymptotes for this graph: The horizontal y=0 asymptote and the vertical x=0 asymptote.
>I accidentally referred to the horizontal asymptote when I should've referred to the vertical one.
>Instead of "there exists an asymptote at y=0", it should be "x=0"

0 0

>That's the bare minimum of what there is to explain about limits. The technical side of learning how to take asymptotes, limits, and holes will be discussed at a later time.
>Let's skedaddle maddle on to end behaviors!

0 2

>Asymptotes help determine limits AND end behaviors, which I'll get to soon.
>There can be multiple limits in a function. In 1/x, there exists 4 limits.
>The limit as x approaches negative/positive infinity and as it approaches 0.

0 2

>However, x-values like 0.1, 0.01, or 0.001 are perfectly fine! The x-value will infinitely approach to x=0, but will never be x=0. This also goes for their respective y-values.
>Informally, we can define asymptotes as "what the function WANTS to become."

0 2

>Asymptotes, for starters, is a line which a curve continuously approaches, but never meets.
>Here, I'll give a good example, it's a personal favorite:

UNIT 1: LIMITS/CONTINUITY P.2

>Oh... Did I get sidetracked? I'm sorrry, and I mean it! Don't look at me like that.
>We'll be finishing the rest of the definitions for asymptotes, limits, and end behavior!
