Not breaking any new ground here but yeah, the original show is an absolute masterpiece- writing, world building, characters, animation... the high level of directing and framing of shot and precise pacing of scenes. I'm blown away, should have watched it long time ago.

So I picked this one up for the Singelin Cass story, which was fucking amazing as expected, but I didn't expect the rest of the stories to be quite so... poetic.

If you like your Batman to be ultra dramatic and theatrical in its writing, this issue's a real treat and a half.

Just watched Straight Outta Nowhere and gotta say, I absolutely love this movie! From the music, to the writing, to the voice acting. Everything about this made me smile like a little kid.
