Always with meaning! Eg, my katara design here has the markings she has because it almost looks like water she bends, the marking on her head represents her hair. For Azula and Zuko they have the fire nation symbol hidden into their stripes, Sokka’s markings resemble a boomerang https://t.co/YLVfjc6x2z
