lots of imprecise lines can be a crutch to distract from smaller mistakes, and your clean lines prove that you've confidently moved beyond that.

i just don't bother cleaning up my stuff anymore, since it gets merged down with colors during rendering anyway

More OLD art, fall of 2008, starting to get more and more towards the current "Me" look already by this point. Shockwave was the 1st pic I was super proud of). I used a lot more solid black shadows back then than I do now, kinda miss it tho, hid a lot more mistakes, lol :P
