Day 17 of 31! When I'm working on a book I'm always trying to imagine how it will appear in final printed form. This is especially important when doing double-paged spreads, where the spine of the book will inevitably swallow up some artwork in the middle of the image.

Hey guys. I had the chance to work on A LOT of creatures for the "Delaware Museum of Nature & Science" for their exhibits. Over 60+ 3D models which were printed and also painted.
The CHALLENGE: to keep the sculpting time as low as i could for each animal.
Was a fun project :)

This image, originally black and white... is on the back of my laptop as I had it engraved. I did it all in a day and it was worth it. And here is an example of that. (I had to use pencil as it printed inverted due to the computer's paint.) Slightly off center but I still love it

🔗: they accidentally printed 🎭 at 🔮’s height. so we had a tiny 🎭 and the convention staff was like we’re so sorry; there were some sort of mistake. We actually got the heights wrong.
🔗: all of us were like no, it’s perfect. He has his true height.
