sometimes i get really discouraged that my art isn’t where i would like it to be, then i look at my art from literally not even a year ago and realize how much i’ve improved (and also cringe a bit) left is from february of this year agdkshkdha

Sue Jenkins is a great instructor! She was calm, easy-going, taught the right amount at the right speed & was receptive to questions and criticism. She was very patient & friendly to everyone & I never felt rushed or discouraged. She helped to create a great learning environment.

Be proud of your work, don't compare yourself to others, strive to be greater.
Seeing faults in your work just means you are improving, don't let it discourage you!

Haven't seen anyone mention Kaiji in the replies, so...Yeah, Kaiji, a gambling anime where the stakes get ridiculously high and the psychological turmoil the characters go through will leave you in shambles. Unfortunately, its artstyle may discourage some people but it's worth it

I've had some problems with someone redesigning Hotbox (my big green stoner mutt I've shown before) without my consent and they were possibly gonna sell it as a new OC of theirs. It left me really discouraged, so I made an alternate sona named VooDoo, he's a big gay Franken-Otter
