I'm thinking more on the lines of "Digimon Tamers" as far as 'horror' goes.

You didn't get jumpscares, gore, or horrific imagery, but you got JUST ENOUGH unsettling elements throughout the series to separate itself from Adventure and 02.

Continuing watching through the Ghibli movies, this week we watched Spirited Away. I watched it as a child but only remember 2 scenes, so the story felt completly new.
Much more unsettling than Kiki's, but I really liked Chihiro's journey to being kind, brave and independent.
