Yes, the Amiga developers saw fit to redraw Masao into KARATE SPOCK. I don't know why. This change somehow also made it into the MD port, made by a completely separate development team. 🤷‍♀️

Made a new back throw for Sailor Mars using Mai Shiranui and a character from Variable Geo. Didn't like her back throw in the 90's arcade game cause it looked pretty generic.

In fact, Twinbee's design didn't get fully realized until a year after DA! with Detana!! Twinbee, which redesigned his arcade-design from the groundup to be more anthropomorphic and feature teenager pilots - who Japanese would come to love fondly during the series' golden era.

Today's is Donkey Kong by Ocean. This is an officially licensed conversion and works well with the Spectrum's limitations. Good arcade conversions were the holy grail of early home computers. I think Ocean did a good job with this.
