I found it: the book that taught me as a child about how dentists aren't so bad and how cavities are painful and you should really brush your teeth everyday

this book doesn't hold back on showing off a (cartoon) tooth with cavities

The issue is people take the “oh he’s a shitty teacher” trope and run with it in their fanon version of this character.

He might not be perfect but he has taught Deku wonderfully. Air Force, Shoot Style - not to mention he values and understands the importance of self growth
