@Shoeknight1 Nintendo did make a fighting game with really iconic original designs.
Then they just kinda forgot about it.
They're lacking in special moves though since they all basically play the same.
So, my planning of The Mermaid's Quest has led me to conclude that it will be a 5 act story w/ this basic structure:
Act 1: Establishing the characters & the quest
Act 2: 1st Expedition - "Tutorial Mode"
Act 3: 2nd Expedition
Act 4: 3rd Expedition
Act 5: Resolution
