OK, I edited my references at last. Sorry for misspellings. I returned Darryl to original design. (Actually I drew him this way all the time, but I changed some details in previous references).

unrefined first attempt, not much changed from the original design. will attempt a more slender version
decided to do a slight redesign of hop's neo champion fit, not too much is changed, but I wanted to give him a bit more of a unique look, one that's more inspired by zapdos. since Galar is a sport themed area, and zapdos runs, I had hop dress like he was doing track
How I planned the cover vs the final result. Alot changed but alot also stayed the same. I'd like to think I kept the spirit alive at least...
