All 3 of them deserved a Mega. I know Ash-Greninja exists as a psuedo-Mega, but I don't care. They're the only starters from the 3D era that don't make use of their home region's battle mechanic and it sucks. If only Pokémon Z existed to fix some of the issues of XY.

I'm SO glad I went back to read the manga. I'm at chapter 114 now. The amount of missing stuff in the anime's Season 2 is honestly BAFFLING, making it feel rushed, confusing, and empty.
