I cant recommend Milestone Media books enough. They were doing in the 90's what creators are doing now. Diverse characters. LBGT, Minority, and more. If you missed the comics when they first came out, you can get the back issues, now. And they are surprisingly inexpensive

For starters, this was my halfling Andry! She was a dual-wielding champion fighter and the de facto leader of the group. In the end, she had a surprising plot twist...but she was the one to land the final blow to Strahd. More on that later, hopefully.

By the way, if you're wondering how Copic markers perform on whiteout, surprisingly well! I don't smudge ink that often anymore but it's good to know it's not the end of the world even if I mess up something as critical as Gengar's FACE 🤡
