So i tried drawing a matcap and honestly it looks pretty nice, it's like if you ripped the shine directly off of my art and put it on a model! Left is just the matcap with toon shading, but right has realistic lighting plus matcap, I just thought it looked really interesting.

Rewarded myself for doing some work with a new attempt at my fursona! She's a gator and I tried to update her body shape to make her a little easier to draw and get her into cute clothes!
