#SkillNotTalent
When I was younger, the adults in my life called me talented. I cultivated my art as a skill over years, and even now I'm still learning new things all the time.
2009 -> 2013 -> 2017 -> 2022
#SkillNotTalent
2019 -> 2022.... May not be much still but definitely came a long way since. It can only get better moving forward, I wish I started sooner.
#SkillNotTalent
It's not about being born good at something. It's practicing, learning and building skills. If you enjoy it, stick to it!
2017 vs. 2022
2013 (first art thing I ever posted online btw) VS 2022. Always remember the joy of art is not the end result but the process of creating it.
#SkillNotTalent
Wisdom plus skills and experience produces competence. Competence leads to confidence. And that's when life begins to cooperate in every direction.
Recreate your life as a new work of art.

Joining #SkillNotTalent with one of my first digital pieces back in like 2018 up against one from this year. I’ll let you guess which is which.

2007 -> 2013 -> 2022
...and I've STILL got loads of things I'm trying to learn how to do better.
2004 vs 2017 vs 2022

With a long 8 years hiatus, I came back to drawing on inktober of 2016, and since then, I draw almost every single day 💪
My 15yo me will be sobbing in happy tears because I can draw what I imagine :'D (most of the time)
Been a fun, but challenging art journey.
2006 vs 2022
Still a lot more to refine.

Self taught and still working my ass off when I can.
