I worry that my comics work ends up being a ding against me when applying for illustration/in house jobs. But it’s just because when I’m making a comic, I don’t wanna spend an extra second on non-storytelling work. I want it to read clean. If I wanna draw nice, I can draw nice👍

What is it with all these Spider-Man B-Titles only really figuring out what they should be in their final issue, after eschewing forgettable long-form storytelling? FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD SPIDER-MAN was excellent and the kind of story the rest is of the run rarely featured.
