Start➡️Finish
saw this meme going around! I tend to clean up my sketches as I go, so my super rough first pass never sticks around for long. https://t.co/eAHIofx31D
✨ Start to Finish 🌸
It was super hard to find a piece that still had a sketch as I always delete my sketch layer! My sketches are also usually never this coherent & tend to be much more gestural. I draw the same time as I lineart with no interim clean sketch between.
sketch > finish
saw this going around tl and wanted to join! I tend to end up liking my sketch more 😂...
A couple of pages from my infamous God Tamer x Tiso comic heh~ #StartToFinish
I tend to draw backgrounds last when I do comics, which, I am aware is not the best practice lol
#StartToFinish to be fair this start is pretty old compared to the finish, but I tend to start things on my ipad these days and I always delete my thumbs after I move the working version to my laptop to save space, so I couldn't find anything else😂
start vs finish stuff.. anyways. i dont think i tend to change That Much from og sketch to the End soo
start -> finish!
i tend to do rough colour sketches instead of lines bc i feel those go the most wrong when im painting 😂
For funsies, #StartToFinish on my newest piece. My sketches tend to be very detailed LOL
Cover illustrations also stick pretty closely to the original sketch, because that's what the client - in this case, @GraceDraven chooses (after receiving several options). I also tend to do the typography so I factor that into my sketches.
#starttofinish
Also start vs finish of the last digital art I did I sometimes tend to do more like 3 sketch layers but this time I only did 2
Not the same format of the start || finish meme, but I do tend to save sketch vs final images like this
start >> finish!! :0 my sketches generally aren't as messy as others bc i tend to forget what part goes into the final piece KDSGHJKSDF https://t.co/QnWzBFhNRN
Start || Finish
I don't thumbnail as much as I should (I can already hear my visdev teachers yelling at me) and tend jump right in to blocking and make edits to the layout as I go. The second set of images, I was provided with the initial sketch as a guideline. #StartToFinish
@_mirio my name is kiersten, i tend to go by kieru and ive been doing self insert stuff since as long as i can remember?? i tend to switch around with f/os and adding to my list while having a couple of mains, and i love making new friends in shared fandoms to cry with!
#StartToFinish is a pretty cool idea. I tend to overwork my sketches these days but that's more because I just enjoy refining them instead of a necessity.
Start >> Finish
I either start with all rough flats or a sketch, if I'm doing a longer painting. This piece has good examples of both. Though, I tend to work directly from the flats once they're put down.
Day 5: Close up #MarchMeetTheMaker
Details are kinda my thing, my favourite thing! They tend to get a bit lost when uploading to social media, so it’s nice to focus on them.
This art is from 2018, but I still tend to work like this, so here's that start->finish meme
@YtheLastChris Just in case there’s any chance for the future, I tend to use brighter colors and I can do cell-shading or a mixture of cell and soft shading!

sometimes my idea is so clear in my head I tend to go overboard and my "color rough" end up already very precise (usually happen for zine related works)
