LRT also works if you just use a tapered pen tool (in any color) and then select the whole layer and add the outline on a different layer! That way you can color the lines separately. used it to make the hair below!

Each tool (ink/blend/erase) can be any brush, which makes eraser and blending options endless.
Go into preferences and you can set quick actions and how to trigger the quick action menu. It took a while to adjust but I made this pic on procreate

Gotcha. So when I shade Angel I did a mix here of the stroke color and pink hues from his color scheme. I do a secondary layer and take a pen tool to get clean shapes and use a soft brush to erase the edges.

these pieces all made extensive use of the airbrush for shading and extra detail and even though there's probably Better(tm) ways I'm super happy with how the airbrush tool made them look in the end. It adds a really nice glow and softness that I like

That lasso tool experiment was nice but it didn't give me the result I wanted, it was a little too undefined. Went back to my previous method of sectioning each muscle off by hand and using the wand tool to let me shade the volume of each muscle individually.
