@Sonic3Mixed the darker blue adds some needed contrast but the colour is overall a little nicer on the blurple, if maybe a little too subdued. Here's an idea for what I think might be the best of both worlds

@TurtlerChan Composition-wise, these are my favorites cause lately I wanna learn and improve composition in my pieces and I am a sucker for contrast so I usually put contrasting colors in my stuff as well.
A version with a bit more contrast, not sure which one I like better.

Purely printmaking for this one as a completely handcrafted contrast to my digitally created collage yesterday....linocut with monoprint of lovely lapwings always a joy to watch, I see them mostly around the Hayle estuary in cornwall .
I do really like the contrast generated by just the shadow layer, i should start working with higher contrasts more
