Sorry for the recent hiatus, December was hectic, early January was me having fun and recovering from MAGFest, and at the moment I'm currently trying to get caught up with commissions. This is an old pic, but I figured I wanted to at least get something out this month.
I think about my coloring process in a layered way.
3) Color Layer 1- I take transparent medium and mix pigment in with the paint to do a color test without covering my sketch
4) Line layer 1- I do my line art in (unfortunately) black marker to define hard lines and shadows
