My apologies to the individuals depicted
Looking forward to Part 2 on Friday
@folklorethurs On my lockdown walk in south London is a garden dedicated to talented local artist Cicely Mary Barker (1895-1973).
Famous for her flower fairy artworks, she used costumed children as models and depicted accurate plants supplied by Kew Gardens. #folklorethursday

4 little #Annunciation depictions as we respond to the story of Mary’s empowerment on this Feast of Gabriel appearing to her in which she interrogates him & stands up for herself before heaven & earth can be joined. Paul Woelfel; Marc Padeau; Woonbo Kim Ki-chang; Janet McKenzie
For today, I made this depiction of #PandorasBox based on Lawrence Alma-Tadema's oil painting =) #PixelArt #Art #ドット絵 #pyxelEdit @PyxelEdit #pixel_dailies @Pixel_Dailies
@FeoUltima @plentyofalcoves I've definitely noticed casca getting lighter in more recent adaptations, but for some reason the op of the 2016 depicts her as straight up white.
First 2 are scenes from 2016, other 2 are from the 2016's op. I have no idea why this happened.
Thanks once more to Marsel-Defender for this depiction of Volpes, shortly after he imbibed the formula that transformed him into what he is today.

Mt Coronet appears to change shape with most depictions of it, even within the same media and canon.
It is sometimes pictured with multiple points and sometimes only with one. Snow is not always visible either, despite being a defining trait.
hello it’s me twitter user zoë zoenold with a little bitty compilation of some recent art 🌱✨☀️ i love to draw depictions of love and a perhaps bit of sadness also. just a sprinkling
Reference to George Back and the Terror - popping this in as it's a spectacular painting @RMGreenwich and a great example of the #Arctic 'sublime', depicting that expedition. Yes, another ship trapped in the ice. It's almost as if they weren't very well-suited to it at times...
Also, Teferi's version Syncopate has one of the best depictions of a counter spell. He just doesn't have time for your nonsense today.
PS: Details: And no, "my horses" will not be depicted with shaved whiskers & inner ears. The whiskers are tactile, the earhair protects against wind, insects, etc.
#Space: these #colourful #swirls depict an unprecedented #storm that played out on #Saturn back in 2011

my first and second most interacted with art tweets are a good depiction of my artistic range:
The Abbey in the Oakwood, 1809
Been dwelling on this Caspar David Friedrich piece a lot lately and am now fully realizing that I have an clear, casual fascination for artistic depictions of ruined places of worship and general reclamation of those spaces.
The Fathers Sin now live @FND

THE FATHERS SIN
Created during my 'Company of Shadows' phase. Based upon a symbol sketched after a light dream meditation. The depiction of a family unit.
