One of the reason why i can never watch modern anime. Sure the story might be good, there might be hidden gems. But the soul nolonger there. Especially the male character design. I feel like the artists just design them for the sake of it instead of pouring passions in.

The Blue Pit Viper was one of the inspirations for Aika's alien design. I also just really wanted to avoid her being a green skinned human or something. I wanted her to look pretty alien, cause ya know... She is. I was tempted to make Aika's belly white, but I decided not to.
