I tried experimenting with the adjust line width tool but I think I just need to draw thicker lines, maybe use a different pen tool or setting.

I think I make my watercolors too light, 'cause every time I scan a watercolor drawing it looks really washed-out, and I can make all the digital adjustments I want but it never looks as good as in person. Oh, well.

Yes, after you remove that section from the o you need to add a bit more wheight on the vertices, but that's a small adjustment. The logo also varies slighly from game to game, as it was recreated with an airbrush for each cover. I used the Sonic 2 version as the reference.
