the first image is how i used to draw when i was 16. the second image is some of my most recent art.
this advice is real garbage. age is not indicative of skill level in the SLIGHTEST. to tell aspiring artists to "give up" because of their skill is genuinely awful. Never give up!

Age 16 on the left and age 19 on the right. You’ll be fine keep at it even if your art feels bad now you will go up!!

i feel lucky that starting from the age of 12 to now 16, ive been able to improve a large amount, especially in the past year, but to diss others that are just starting/ not quickly improving is crappy.

I'm sorry to say this, but this post is whack. Mastering art takes time and practice, no matter your age. Watch tutorials, put that knowledge into practice and don't be afraid to ask professionals and your favorite artists for help. Heres some old and new art of mine. 2018-2022

from when I was 16 vs last year

age is irrelevant in art and you can always get better https://t.co/fF34hESqvZ

my self portrait at 17 vs mine at 21 (almost 22)

everyone has different paces when learning!! your age does not define what level of skill you should be at. https://t.co/oyhxrITIr9

I was slow to improve compared to my friends and peers who drew a lot! Some of my old awkward art from high school, college, and even grad school. There's no age where you become too old to improve through practice and study. :) https://t.co/WXC9MBGbFz

Thanks for this! My current webcomic is
It follows a group of monsters trying to find their purpose while avoiding the guardians and humans hunting them down

It’s a unique coming-of-age mystery with a splash of Puerto Rican folklore/history thrown in the mix!

This person is wrong. You can start drawing at any age and if your skill is poor now that doesn't mean anything. Improvement only happens with practice.
Here have art from when I was 17 and 22 respectfully.

I’ll be done after this but I just wanted to show that art has no age limit and you will forever improve as long as you draw. This is my art from 12 to 22, then from 19 to 24. I still have a lot to learn, but have come a long way. Don’t give up, please. Your art is worth it.

Anybody, at any age, can be a beginner artist and discover it as a passion. I don't have a set "Style", but I enjoy creating pictures. That is what's important. https://t.co/ypZNEdIeXW
