With character names like Aethelflaed, Aethelred and Aelflaed, this series one-ups Tolkien in obsolescent proper noun usage. Fortunately, the characters are incredibly well-written, and the plot moves like a bullet train with payoff after payoff. Highly recommended. 9 out of 10.

Compilation for a personal world building project! Unfortunately I decided to scrap this direction but I learnt a ton and I'm even more excited for the new direction the project is taking B)
(Decided to add some of the thumbnails of scenes that I didn't manage to get to as well)

Unfortunately the Corians showed no mercy when raiding the Halfling village. Setting fire to their huts as they slept, the villagers just didn't stand a chance.
