Initially, It was going to be a solid color, but I felt that was too boring. So I used the colors from her mask and tails.

Idk..I've always like unicorn it just felt like the race I would want to be in the pony world. Plus with the 2 ponies that have my heart being unicorn I knew it's who my oc was gonna be. Also back story he is the lost son of king Sombra which was cool for the story I think.
