It depends on what artstyle I'm going for, the first image has a lot of layers because I paint and focus on the details for every part individually

adding extra little details to ur work is fun (eyelashes of different shapes and lengths, fingernails, wrinkles especially around the eyes, dimples, moles EVERYWHERE you can think of, different eyebrow shapes, etc) and makes you feel better about your art bc of the extra effort https://t.co/F8AfY5x7id

Here's my 4.
Cream is the nice contrast to the rest of the Adventure cast, with Tails being a nice in-between of charm and coolness.

Gamma is straight up best robo boi, and Fang is equal parts a cowardly little shit and a respectable mercenary.

I do know how to draw but I really felt lazy whenever it is time to add details in my drawing. I'm also lazy when it comes to coloring as you can see.
