1 year ago today, a college friend passed. She was really into mermaids and I had planned (earlier that March) to draw one for her birthday. Unsatisfied with my sketches, I scrapped the idea. It turned out to be her last birthday. This time, I just powered through. RIP LeeAnn. 👼
