I woke up from my COVID-19 sleep (yeah, still have symptoms) to the news that Kentaro Miura passed away. Berserk was one of the mangas I used to read when I was a lonely teenager spending his afternoons reading in a mall here in Madrid.

The beautiful, and complex world of "Trinity Blood" came to end when Sunao Yoshida passed away in 2004. Even if the story was left incomplete and one wonders about the fate of the characters (such as, Abel Nightroad), fans continue to deeply cherish "Trinity Blood" and Yoshida.

It's been a hard day today already, and hearing Kentaro Miura passed away as absolutely broken my heart.

His artwork, storytelling and characters were absolutely brilliant and words can't express how much I looked up to his writing and artwork.

Kentaro Miura, creator of the horror fantasy epic BERSERK, passed away on May 6th at the age of 54. The manga, still running after 32 years will presumably not get complete closure. I will prioritize an episode about this.
